This is NOT a fire assay to determine ounces per ton or to detect low grade gold, but it is very accurate to determine if high grade gold is, or is not present in the sample. Three easy steps is all it takes! No heating of the sample, no cumbersome, finicky and expensive equipment to mess around with. 1: Take any small crushed ore sample and add KD-1, let set for one hour or so. 2: siphon off a drop and place on a piece of tissue paper. 3: Add a drop of KD-3 to the leach spot and if the spot turns purple, you have gold! The darker the purple, the higher the amount of gold in the sample.
